Originally from Long Island, New York- I moved to Washington DC in 1981 to attend Georgetown University School of Dentistry. I joined a dental group in Falls Church, Virginia following graduation and was a partner until 1996 when I had a unique opportunity to work and live in Moscow, Russia. Eventually I moved to Prague, Czech Republic where I opened the first American Dental Associates in 2001. I lived in beautiful Prague for six years and married my wife ,Ekaterina, and both of my sons were born there. We moved to Bristow, Virginia in the fall of 2004 and I opened yet another dental office, American Dental, also located in Bristow. I have served as the President of my Home Owners Association for the last sixteen years. My sons were completely educated by Prince William County schools and are now both attending George Mason University. As a business owner for twenty years I have become fiscally conservative and I wish to add " my voice of reason" in an effort to improve the lives of ALL Virginians from ALL walks of life-
Jobs and the Economy:
As Delegate, I will work tirelessly to create jobs. The last two years we have seen Democrats in Richmond support endless lockdowns and regulations that make it tough for small businesses to survive, let alone thrive.
As a small business owner, I know what these employees and owners are going through, the lack of leadership and consistency from Richmond has taken a toll on countless citizens and families.
We need to get Virginians back to work and help give small businesses the resources they need to be successful. I will support a pro jobs agenda that will help businesses grow and empower Virginians.
Virginians deserve a tax cut, not a tax hike.
The last decade we have seen dozens of new fees and taxes that nickel and dime Virginians and make it tougher to save and invest in our futures. As a Delegate, I will work to cut taxes and fees and lower our overall tax burden in the Commonwealth. We will pursue economic growth instead instead of more government.
Our kids need to be back in school. The CDC says they can learn safely, our teachers have been vaccinated. It is time for our kids to get back to in person learning with proper safeguards in place. Many kids can’t afford to fall further behind, and catching them up means putting them back in school.
Virginia must pursue an ‘all of the above’ energy policy, and oppose Democrat’s attempts to pass the Green New Deal. With so many out of work, Virginians cannot afford higher gas and electric bills brought on by Democrat policies. While green energy is worth pursuing, it should not be done at the expense of consumers and at a higher cost to taxpayers.
The Democrats energy agenda hurts those the most they claim to want to help. Those who can’t afford higher bills are getting hit hardest, and we owe them better.
Safe, secure and fair elections are the bedrock of our Democracy. You need a photo ID to buy allergy medicine, you should need a photo ID to vote. It’s just that simple. We also need to continue to strive for transparency in the counting of ballots, so observers from all sides can watch ballots be counted. Voting by mail should also require more than just a pinky promise as proof, voters should need to provide a scan or picture of their photo ID to vote absentee, and we need to limit ballot harvesting in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Crime and Public Safety
Democrats in Richmond have put felons over our families, pushing for the early release of violent felons into our neighborhoods, making our families less safe. Most recently, they attempted to push a budget amendment to defund our law enforcement officers and have refused to hold the parole board accountable for improper actions relating to the early release of rapists, murderers, and other predators.
As a Delegate, I will repeal these dangerous policies that allowed for the early release of violent felons and reform the Parole Board.
I support the constitutional right to bear arms, plain and simple. Attempts by Democrats in Richmond and Washington DC to destroy our constitutional rights and must be stopped.
I believe life is sacred and begins at conception and lasts until natural death. I oppose Democrat legislation to legalize third trimester abortion and use taxpayer funds to pay for abortions, it’s wrong. We need to promote a culture of life in our communities and nation, and start passing laws that protect the unborn.
It is outrageous commuters are paying $30 or more just to travel to wok. This ‘deal’ should have never been signed, and as a Delegate I will do everything I can to eliminate tolls.
